Welcome to Elevate Ballet and Stage Company

We provide Ballet and Dance Classes to children age 2-18 years of age.

Our mission is to instil a love of dance in aspiring dancers, making dance accessible, inclusive and fun. We strive to build a friendly, nurturing and supportive environment which allows every dancer to reach their full potential. Regardless of whether you wish to work towards a professional career, have a competitive journey or just dance for fun, we will ensure every dancer is treated equally and supported to reach their personal goals.

We are a supportive team who will encourage every child to learn how to value team work, be kind, considerate and compassionate. We passionately believe that being part of a dance team encourages children to learn lifelong skills which are essential, regardless of the path they chose.  We will support your child to become leaders; know when to follow; how to support others; how to communicate; and be a committed and reliable team member.

Class Groups

    Infant dancers

    For dancers age 2-5 years of age. These classes are an introduction to the style of dance, basic foundations and terminology. At this age the focus is on fun, co-ordination, imagination and musicality. We focus on introducing the young dancer to class etiquette, following instructions, making friends and being part of a team.

    Junior dancers

    For dancers 6-10 yrs who have developed some basic technique, co-ordination and terminology of the style. These dancers are are able to follow basic instruction, maintain attention and focus. They are starting to put basic steps/technique of the style together.

    The age group is a basic guide and it will be at the discretion of the teacher which class would be better. to meet the needs of the individual child it may be beneficial that they are in a class for a younger or older age group.

    Inter Dancers

    For children 10-13yrs and have developed a good understanding of the style and underpinning technique. They are able and ready to be introduced to more advanced and challenging technique

    Senior Dancers

    For dancers age 14yrs plus and are now ready to begin more advanced choreography and technique.

    We use age as a guide when placing dancers into class groups. However, depending the dancers individual needs it may be necessary to place them in a group younger or older than their age.
